"Invoice Number: 'X' account number not found in the list of postable accounts." : Innovent Support

The import error is generally caused by one or more of the following reasons:

An account in the transaction is not appearing in the list of accounts in the company file
An account in the transaction is a header account, not a detail account
An account in the transaction is an inactive account
You are trying to record a transaction to the Current Year Earnings account

If you are encountering this message I would recommend going to Accounts>>Accounts List and ensuring that accounts in the transaction you are importing in listed in the Accounts list, are detial accounts (i.e. not highlighted in bold) and are active. Also, ensure that you are not importing a transaction to the Current Year Earnings account - which is your Profit and Loss for the current financial year.
